Hyderabad: Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) recently launched the T-Social Startups Network (TSSN) to mobilize an exclusive network of like-minded institutions in Telangana’s social innovation and impact space working to help the state create a to become a global hub for social development. innovation and impact while aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals.
More than thirty stakeholders such as investors, incubators, industry representatives and non-profit organizations attended the first meeting of the TSSN, which set out the vision and goals of the initiative.
The event also showcased the work of 16 social enterprises to the community. Notable participants included the stakeholders Palle Srujana, the Bala Vikasa International Center, T-HUB, AIC-CCMB, etc. Included.
Supported by the AIC-IIITH Foundation, this network initiative of TSIC will bring together like-minded stakeholders in the state’s social innovation space to enable them to increase their impact. Viiveck Verma, senior adviser to TSIC, set out the vision of the network and the broad objectives of TSSN with the aim of helping the State achieve the goal of 5K5Y – 5 000 startups within five years.
The launch meeting was followed by a lift session, where 16 beginners for social impact showcased their work to the stakeholders.
