Rachakonda Police will establish three levels of security at polling stations

Hyderabad: Rachakonda police have decided to introduce three levels of police protection at all polling stations within its boundaries.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner MM Bhagawath has revealed the details of the security arrangements they made for the upcoming GHMC election during a press conference.

He said they have 12 most sensitive polishing sites, consisting of 53 polishing stations. He also said there are 166 sensitive polishing sites, including 512 polishing stations.

He said they have set up 104 routine parties to cover these polishes. He also said that six flying groups, six static surveillance teams would fulfill their duties 24 hours until the end of the election. He noted that a total of 533 candidates had submitted their nomination papers within their limits, and said that they had six counting centers within their limits.

The commissioner said they were using the services of 8,000 civilian and 2,000 armed police personnel for the peaceful conduct of the election. He said they manned all polling stations after geo-tagging them. He also said that so far they have handed over 353 licensed revolvers to them.
