Hyderabad, October 18: Gland Pharma, a city business, adopted 27 animals for one year in Hyderabad at a cost of Rs 20 crore.

The adopted animals included large cats such as a tiger and lions, giraffe, hippopotamus, cheetah and deer.

The company also adopted birds such as ostriches, flamingos, rhinos and vultures.

Gland Pharma’s social responsibility management members visited the zoo and handed the check to A. Nagamani, Deputy Curator of Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad.
