Himayath Sagar gates reopened amid heavy rain

Hyderabad: With heavy rain against Hyderabad and strong inflows, four gates of Himayath Sagar were opened by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Rioling Board (HMWSSB) late on Saturday night.

The reopening of gates within a week caused panic among the public already affected by the rain.

According to official sources, through the night there was an inflow of 1,300 pieces of water into the Himayat Sagar and the water is left in the Musi River.
