Heavy rain: Telangana DGP asks police officers to be vigilant

Hyderabad: Police Director-General M Mahender Reddy has asked police staff across the state to be vigilant after heavy rain over Telangana over the past few days.

The DGP held a video conference with the commissioners / superintendents of the police on Sunday and asked them to ensure that there was no loss of life or property due to the heavy rain.

He asked the police staff to monitor the situation on a real-time basis and coordinate with the revenue officers at district and town level.

The DGP said police officers should also be present in the control room set up at the district collector’s office and monitor the situation. According to him, monitor the situation from the head office according to the instructions of Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
